It’s probably supposed to be provocative since the Greens used to be a purely pacifist party. But I guess that the actual article will not be critical of their new position since this would condradict the way in which Der Spiegel has reported on this war so far.
Anyway, I just thought it looks pretty dope.

Some Spiegel covers are really great. The best in recent months was the one about the Netherlands.
I never would have expected that from our greens tbh. So far I saw them as spineless, pseudoscientific dreamers. They are still bogus lovers and dreamers, but at least they seem to have some backbone.
When the Greens were founded, they were a pacifist party. I remember the sticker „Frieden schaffen ohne Waffen.“ from the early 1980s when the German peace movement was protesting against nuclear rearmament („Den NATO Doppelbeschluss nicht verwirklichen!“ was the subtitle of the same sticker).
