Going for a trip to Norway soon, just stumbled over this photo across the web. Does anyone know what's the location? Thanks

  1. It’s Reinebringen. A very, very popular hiking trail above Reine, Lofoten.

  2. It’s Reinebringen, Lofoten, but that’s not the peak you reach when you take the trail. If I remember right, this might be one you need some expertise to reach and is a bit south.

  3. Might be Reinebringen in Lofoten. There is a stone step walkway up there from the road, lovely place for a sunset (if there is a sunset).

  4. Have good hiking shoes and equipment for hiking. The weather can be rough and the stone steps are slippery in rain. There can also be loose rocks falling.

  5. That’s Reine. I live not so far from there. Magnificent picture by the way!

  6. I took a picture here a few days ago, Reinebringen. I also was on a trip to Norway and found it in a list of best hikes in Lofoten. For how rainy it was considering Reinebringer was all rock steps to the top I found it easy compared to the other hikes I did that were in mud and slippery rocks. I still enjoyed those hikes but keep that in mind in Lofoten.

Although it may have been a slightly different angle or this is distorted, it’s basically from this point. I can’t attach the photo.

  7. I hate those pictures who give a fake image of Norway. If this is not AI, someone has gone crazy in Photoshop. Could also be an oil painting by an intoxicated artist.

  8. That’s Reine, in Lofoten. I live there. That photo is highly photoshopped and stretched vertically. Also, the chances of such a day are probably over. It has been cloudy and raining every single day for the last 3-4 weeks.

Please, follow local recommendations to hike mountains like this. People die every single year in this and other mountains because fixation on the idea that they must climb it no matter what. Winds here can change and become really strong really fast and rain makes it even worse if you’re not prepared.

  9. A bit north-west of AI, behind some heavy filters..kust south of fantasy, in the middle of bullshit kommune

  10. «This» image is a misrepresentation of Lofoten, Norway. Image is manipulated. You will never find THAT view

  11. I am going to guess lofoten? I Have never Been to norway but lofoten IS always a safe pick in these sort of picture

  12. This place is known as Oversaturert I Øvre Strekkebygd, and is best reached on the Internet

  13. Anywhere. This country is just a giant post-card, you drive around and your jaw drops basically after every single bend on the road.
