  7. To be honest, if the deterrent is something as simple as putting up a load of flags and the public saying they are no longer welcome here, then that’s a good outcome.

  10. Don’t see how it’s hard to imagine that turning up somewhere unannounced isn’t going to get you a warm reception. People have a problem with the method they are choosing to get in rather than a problem with them.

    I’m going to just break through my neighbours window and setup in his living room, then I’ll ask him why he doesn’t like me. At the same time I’ll ask him to feed me, give me a mobile phone and sort out my healthcare for me.

And unlike those other countries which where Shengen and effectively borderless, you’re now trapped somewhere you don’t want to be and the government won’t let you back regardless of how much you, the government or the public want that.

  23. I have no problem with immigration. It’s the ‘cultures’ that come with it.

    Humans are humans at the end of the day, but most choose an invisible overlord to make their decisions for them. If religion and extremist idealogy was no more, maybe we would all get along a bit better.
