  2. Now when shows are picked up, only for the order to be cancelled afterwards, are people involved in front (and behind) the screen compensated at all?

    Because I’d assume if you’re told your show is secure, you’d have to turn down other opportunities knowing it’d conflict with filming.

  4. Considering most streaming shows now need at least two years between seasons to maintain quality, I’m surprised they aren’t alternating between the two shows. (Resurrection one year, Original Sin the next)

    Wondering if the writers might consider including regular flashbacks with the Original Sins cast in the second season of Resurrection. Be a shame if we never see them again in those roles. (I personally was very skeptical about OS going to it but that cast won me over.)

    never bothered watching original sin, even though ive watched the og series a few times now.

  11. We are excited to see Resurrection but will wait until all the episodes are released to save on subscription costs.

    Sad to see Original Sin cancelled but there does seem to be a lot out right now.

  12. This is a big surprise to me, especially considering they have been using clips from it in Resurrection. The casting was great; the acting was solid; the story was interesting — and Dexter seems to be having a renaissance between this and Resurrection. What gives?

  15. Étoile was also cancelled after being signed for 2 seasons. Excellent show. Incredibly disappointing.

  19. That sucks! Genuinely watched it with morbid curiosity after how badly they screwed up the last season of Dexter and then the attempted Reboot. Original Sin was genuinely engaging and made me love the franchise again.

  20. It had decent viewing figures and 8+ rating out of ten for every episode. Cancelling it is such a weird thing to do when Dexter content is in demand. I enjoyed it, it was decent.
