Iran has asked Belarus for assistance in restoring its air defense and electronic warfare systems damaged during the 12-day war with Israel, announced by Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service, APA reports, citing The Kyiv Independent.
According to the report, the request was raised during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s recent visit to Minsk in a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
Although the official talks focused on trade and investment, Ukrainian intelligence added that Tehran was also seeking covert support for its defense needs.
