  7. Here’s a thought, instead of actively deporting, how about a policy change that makes the UK so attractive in the first place?
    These migrants come from all over, travel through country after country until finally the hit the French Channel coast, they don’t do this to escape wars and persecution, they do it because they believe that the UK will give them everything they don’t have at home for free.

    Change that incentive and suddenly you’re not dealing with 1000+ a day crossing the channel.

    If mass deportations were a workable solution the government would have done it by now. The fact of the matter is most of the people you’d want to deport, ditched their passports, with no passports they have no proof of citizenship so you have nowhere to deport them to.

    He could start dumping them on the shores in France, but he won’t like it when the French retaliate by leaving a truck full of dinghies unlocked on a beach in Calais.

    This such a cop-out. These countries have every incentive not agree to deportations, since these illegal immigrants are a source of foreign currency reserves through the remittances they send. Shithole countries are literally sending the dregs of their society here in the hope they’ll steal our national wealth and transfer some of it back. We have to impose a cost on these countries, as the benefits currently outweigh the cost.
