Well that’s sad.
Another victim in Bill Burr’s murderous “drop dead” spree.
How traumatic for everyone!
Was the script that bad?!?

I was an assistant director in LA to some small shows and they have the earliest death rate of any crew member. A friend died in his late 30s right after his first kid was born. It’s one of the reasons I quit.
So sad. Isn’t it crazy hot there right now?
Fuck the entertainment industry. Such a horrible and toxic work culture.
1st AD is no fucking joke.
I know quite a few ADs that unfortunately have very severe health issues now. We’re all in our early 40s and certainly for many of them working 16 hours consistently on set, with all that stress and little legitimate turn-around etc. has factored into said health issues. The money is obviously really good, especially if you’re a distant hire DGA AD, but no amount of money is worth sacrificing your health for. Condolences to Diego’s family 🙁
