There used to be a Zhivago music shop on the top floor.
Great shop. A real treat to visit.
If that place ever closes down, waterford is finished. It’ll just be a barren wasteland full of people wandering around in tracksuits and pyjamas.
Looks nice. Not seen a bookshop like that in a looong time.
I used to absolutely adore coming in here as a kid during our family trips to Waterford, it’s still a really big and impressive shop but when you’re a kid it would feel like an absolute cavern, like it goes up and up and up forever, and you’d crane your neck all the way and see people up on the mysterious top level. Used to feel like I was in Harry Potter or something
Was in here for the first time recently and it genuinely took my breath away and brought a tear to my eye. Really wasn’t expecting to see such a beautiful shop like this.
I would go here every time we visited Waterford as a child, I bought so many books and X-Men comics. It was so fun wandering around deciding what I’d choose.
I think I’ll have to add this to my list to visit
Possibly my favourite shop ever. Love it
i hope this shop lasts forever one of waterfords last nice things
Guess I’m taking a trip to Waterford
It’s a lovely shop. And thankfully it seems to do steady business. There’s also a nice cafe upstairs. Showing my age but I remember going to the cinema that was there before it.
Lovely bookshop and building. Used to be the old savoy cinema.
Awh that’s beautiful.
A beautiful shop, always have to go in when I’m in Waterford city
When I go to a good bookshop I feel obliged to buy something. Same with a decent record store. There are so few of either now that decent ones deserve support.
Grand aul place, love going in on my breaks and having a look around
Café upstairs is top notch
Good shop, if they would just lower their prices, it would be great. Used to have a great coffee shop.
Love this place, I go every time I’m in Waterford.
Love this shop, always go into it when I’m down in Waterford
