Welp. How much gas is France using in his energy mixture anyways? I’m surprised they even know there is a different way to produce power beside nuclears.
Shhhh redditors in r/europe don’t like facts.
Didn’t know the Netherlands were a big exporter of gas. Unless it’s like exportations and it’s counting when it’s coming from Rotterdam?
People have been ringing the alarms on dependence on Russian energy for years, now they invade Ukraine and all the people in charge pretend it is some big shock that couldn’t have been foreseen. Annexing Crimea in 2014 should have been a pretty strong warning of what was to come.
Why is the US highlighted in yellow?
Norway can not currently export higher volumes than we are.
But normal maintenance shutdowns will be postponed this summer, to fill European gas storages as much as possible before next winter.
We are running at more than 100% of theoretical capacity 24/7 and will be doing so as long as it takes.
