CLINTON, N.Y. — The Clinton Art and Music Festival took place on Saturday with live music and many art displays.
The festival, organized by the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, featured more than 50 art and food vendors and multiple stages for live performances.
A new stage was added this year at the Kirkland Art Center.
The festival’s Adirondack rocking chair auction, “Art Rocks,” was a highlight of the event.
The Clinton High School Art Club participated by painting a chair for the auction.
The live auction took place at the gazebo, with proceeds going to the Chamber of Commerce.
Starting bids began at $200, with some chairs selling for over $800.
The food court that took over West Park Row attracted large crowds of hungry festivalgoers.
There was also a beer tent this year.
This annual August event typically draws around 5,000 attendees.
