It must be so hard for victims to come forward, either at the time or later in life. I’m not sure a Tory MP making statements accusing a victim of abuse of lying will help that!
I was sexually assaulted by someone when I was about 13, it terrified me & kept it locked up for…15+ years. it’s really fucking difficult to process & come forward so all the best to him.

His childhood sounds horrific and full of trauma.
