  1. I used to have a coat of arms, but the gardai said it wasn’t allowed… they took away my coat of legs, and coat of faces too. Damn fascists.

    Family coat of arms never existed in Ireland, outside of a few outliers.

  3. Looks like a coat of arms that is fake and purchased from a company who pretend to have an archive of oldie Irish Coats of Arms but in reality they just made them up some crests and sell to tourists.
    95% of Irish families would have been peasant farmers and more interested in basic survival than getting awarded Coats of Arms for noble deeds.

  4. It’s a throwing star, like the ninjas have. The Foleys were traditionally the assassins for the kings of Ireland and this is reflected in the family coat of arms.

  5. Your ancestors were more than likely shit farmers like the rest of us. They probably didn’t have an elaborate crest
