Prince Harry faces fresh questions about his US visa application after the Trump administration uncovered more than 1,000 documents tied to his case – and portions of this material could potentially become public.

Legal filings show that 1,007 papers related to the Duke of Sussex were discovered at the US Department of State, which handles visa applications.

Among these are 217 records from the Office of the Secretary of State – America’s equivalent to Britain’s Foreign Secretary.

The documents also reveal there are 517 “potentially responsive records” from the Bureau of Consular Affairs, 271 from the Office of the Legal Advisor, and two from the Office of the Deputy Secretary of State.

A Washington judge will now examine these materials to determine what information should be released.

The organization’s attorney, Samuel Dewey, noted the volume of paperwork on Harry “shows they are monitoring him pretty closely,” reports Birmingham Live.

He added, “I think we’re going to see documents from Harry talking about the case, but other material may be withheld. Then it will be up to politicians whether that decision is overruled.”

The legal fights have fueled speculation that Donald Trump could deport Harry, who moved to the US with his American wife Meghan Markle in 2020.

The Express US has contacted Prince Harry‘s representatives for comment. The Department of State said it wouldn’t comment on specific cases due to visa record confidentiality.
