I hope Egypt isn’t just posturing. I’m horrified and disgusted at how many “civilized” nations decided that they want to help carry out ethnic cleansing and genocide. We need someone to stand up to them.
I guess starting this war by 1000 people on Oct 7th, still keeping dozens of hostages, and then losing wasn’t such a great idea after all.
Surely the mass displacement mentioned here is that of the IDF being beaten out of Gaza right?
Egypt understands that Hamas is not getting up from this. And sensible enough that they don’t want Hamas entering their country either.
EDIT: No downvoters, please go ahead and explain how this was all a fantastic idea and how we should all agree with you in bailing out Hamas.
The world definitely needs another 20 years of this. Edward Said taught us this masochism himself
