The US is sending Ukraine 3,350 Extended Range Attack Munition (ERAM) air-launched missiles, with deliveries starting in weeks, per the WSJ.
The low-cost cruise missiles reportedly have a range of up to 250 miles, a CEP of less than 10 m, and a warhead of 500 pounds.

I forgot to add that theirs rumors that the US will require Ukraine to request permission to use them on targets, thus hindering Ukraines ability to target and eliminate Russian military assets effectively and quickly
Whatever trump’s constraints on the use of those things are, it’s a lot of additional firepower for Ukraine and hopefully also a message towards putin.
Citation?
US blocks deliveries of air defense missiles, prohibit strikes against russian territory with longer range missiles, block allies from sharing intelligence under their coopoeration and I need to believe they will actually deliver these? I wouldn’t be surprised that in weeks it would be either blocked, delayed for weeks again or ‘redirected’ somewhere else.
Edit: these are funded by Europeans and already delayed and now seems to be delayed again(?) for weeks. Also, Ukraine can only use them from US permission even though it funded by European countries
>According to the WSJ, the $850 million arms package is largely funded by European countries and includes other items. **Its transfer was delayed until after** Trump held talks with Russian ruler Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The newspaper’s sources stated that the use of ERAMs, which have a range of 240 to 450 kilometres, will also require approval from the Pentagon. The U.S. has not officially confirmed new deliveries of these missiles.
Background reporting notes that the **Pentagon has been blocking Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles to strike Russian territory for several months.**
This should be classified as EU aid and not US aid since its the EU who is paying for it
>It can therefore be assumed that Ukraine will be free to use ERAM against temporarily occupied territories, while strikes on russia itself will require a separate green light from the U.S.

If it’s the US they are limiting the range
I will believe this when Ukraine actually has them.
Are they sending them flying across the atlantic in a formation?
Paint in pink, write Flamingo on them and deliver to ruZZia.
Just send em straight to Russia already
It isn’t sending shit. US is selling them. The EU is doing the lifting.
Do they still have time to change their mind?
And if they do get sent after 2 weeks, are there going to be restrictions like, fire them on Wednesdays at targets you tell them so they can warn russia.
But you can’t use them on Russia …. They sell weapons
But they still dictate conditions
This country become a giant brain garbage
Thanks EU
Wondering how many can Ukraine launch at the same time to over saturate the AD.
This will be an answer to Russia’s FABs. It is relatively short ranged, so it would not be all that useful for attacking targets in Russia anyway, but it can destroy operational targets on or behind the front (with greater accuracy than the Russian FABs, though those have been a terror for the Ukrainians despite their questionable accuracy).
Probably made some money on it but will tell Ukraine to not fire them into Russia while bashing Biden for same thing. They will probably hear you should receive them in 2 weeks over and over for the next year!
Fuck Trump and Vance and the rest of the clowns in this administration. They could have helped Ukraine push the Russians back in this war if Trump and Vance had been on the right side of this war, instead of being inside of Putins ass. I’m happy Ukraine is getting these weapons. Now the question I have is: is there a way for Ukraine to turn these into a super long range air launched missile? Add some type of assist that could allow it to cruise all the way to Moscow or St Petersburg
so if EU pays for it and US sends it but can they still say no you can’t use it?
But limiting their use without a fucking doubt.
Why will Germany does not sell the Taurus instead? Is Germany concern about sharing their technology with Ukraine or just worry about Russian retaliation. I am assuming the Taurus is a more sophisticated and precise missile.
Great, and how far will the USA allow to send them?
In an effort to save shipping cost, we should invite Vlad back to Alaska to receive the 1st one.
I hope those missiles find worthy targets. Take them to hell my UA brothers.
Too late cankles taco is too weak and the reason why Ukraine has lost territory lately. If Kamala were president they’d be armed with them already.
EU is sending it.
If you buy a iPhone and give it to a friend. Who is sending your friend the iPhone?
More, quicker! The very least we can do from the USA
Next time EU should buy from Bofors Sweden!
Until Trump changes sides again
