The President of the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) has said that despite the fact that some countries do not recognize Kosovo as a state, they allow Kosovars to enter with a passport.

But Pacolli says that Ukraine is not doing this either, pointing to a case where some Kosovo citizens were returned to the Ukraine-Moldova border crossing.

Pacolli said that these Kosovo citizens have been called “terrorists” and have been mistreated.

Meanwhile, Kosovo, says Pacolli, “continues to show solidarity with Ukraine.”

“There are dozens of countries that have not yet recognized Kosovo, but almost all of them allow our citizens to enter with a Kosovo passport. Today, Ukraine has turned back Kosovo citizens at the border with Moldova – not only has it refused them, but it has insulted and mistreated them, even calling them “terrorists”. This is not the first case: a few years ago, the same Ukraine acted in a scandalous way with our national football team, who were forced to travel to Georgia to play a match. We here in Kosovo continue to show solidarity and pain for them – while they humiliate us. Isn’t it time to reconsider our attitudes towards those who do not respect us even the most minimal dignity?”, Pacolli wrote on Facebook. /Gazeta Express
