You go from Finsbury Park into the parkland walk, this takes you to Highgate wood which you walk down the side of to the 2nd part of the parkland walk, this takes you to Alexandra palace park
Pretty unique feature for a big city!
You could even start at the Manor House reservoirs and follow the river path that takes you to Finsbury Park

Great suggestion. If you have time, don’t skip Highgate/Queens Wood. Lovely places. Do a round of the fantastic numerous charity shops in Muswell Hill on the way to Ally Pally.
What is the Capital Ring ‘Link’ here? I can see two seemingly random results for it on Google Maps but no real context.
I’ve done that walk but this doesn’t seem like just one of the sections…
There are a few more nature walks [here](https://footways.london/london-nature-trails) if you or anybody else are interested.
Following the Old Great Northern railway line to Ally Pally!
I’ve walked along here and its lovely. Though, it is actually a disused railway for parts, and theres still old platforms and obvious train tunnels which is fun to see. Some of my favourite parks in the world include Le Petite Ceinture in Paris which is very similar in the sense its a former railway line – maybe its just the inner train enthusiast.
Will have to try this
This was a lifesaver for me when I lived around there during the pandemic.
Extend through Hampstead Heath for a good 4 hour hike on trails…
It’s an absolutely great walk!
isnt that a 51 minute walk as shown by your picture
I walk my down down the parkland walk most days and can confirm that section is lovely!
