A friend told me of one of his friends who went out and painted the local roundabout with a the st George cross.
Not because he’s a racist. But because it badly needed the roundabout repainting and the local council had put it off for months.
It was repainted within 24 hours.

Pride flag is for people who are proud of their sexual preferences and their ability to be open about it, but can be “Highjacked” by a minority that can be classed as far left with far left opinions.
If you can’t see that, You’re likely one or the other.
Me personally, I see no issues with either flag, national pride is a beautiful thing in any country.

Labour and the Tories have had a collective 25+ years to sort the country, and it’s gone from weakness to weakness. The rich have always profited at the expense of the little man, but never before has it been so stark. The difference between the haves and the have-nots is at an all-time high.
People are fed up feeling like second class citizens in their own nation because they can’t afford a house. Because they can’t get a decent job. Because they can’t get a GP appointment. Because they can’t speak to anyone at their local council.
This has nothing to do with immigration or rights for anyone. It has everything to do with mismanagement, and that’s what reform are banking on. Like with Brexit, it’s a case of “take a punt on us since there’s nothing worse that can happen, right?” And its at the point where enough people will take that risk.
Tragic.

I never understood of painting flags/symbols on the ground. Like, surely that’s disrespectful? You have people walking over it daily, that’s something you do to show disrespect. There was this time in Iran when the Gaza war started (or one of the US strikes in Iran) where they painted the Israeli/US flags on the ground for people to walk over. That’s what I thought would be the main reason to paint flags on the ground.
