Ugh- that flag wrapped arround the monument like some rag. Zero respect. Probably local “Nationalists” did that. They are a blight to the real patriots of this country.
Isn’t that photo from 2nd of May? The National Flag Day?
Why no Ukrainian flag?

Every time I was around Mickiewicz, it was covered with Ukrainian flags. Which I don’t have anything against – ofc Mickiewicz is among most Polish icons out there, but this was gesture of solidarity, nothing aggressive or disrespectful about it. It’s Independence Day in Ukraine today, and I am pretty sure whoever installed those PL flags there was fighting “Ukrainian occupation” of the monument, or tried to prevent it.
Friendship between our nations is something Kremlin can’t stand, and they will try everything to set us at variance; internet trolls, fake news, propaganda and rightwing “nationalists” are so easy to set up. And the sheep follow so easily.
I had the absolute pleasure to visit Poland for the first time ever recently, Gdansk specifically. I noticed and said to the tour guide that I had seem more Polish flags just that first day than I had seen Dutch flags (my home) all year up to that point.
Not a criticism mind you. Just an observation.
Nice! All others are 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Polish flags in Polish city.
Pare minut dłużej (w senise jakby chwile później było zrobione) i bym był w kadrze na tym zdjęciu xd.
Interesting, we had white supremacists putting up a ton of English flags in London the other day. I wonder if those groups are somehow coordinating this?
i was about to ask what was going on today, loads of people screaming at each other, two big groups, polish vs ukraines, seperated by 20 police men.
