The EU has offered to help Poland. Frontex is standing by to be deployed, but so far Poland has rejected the assistance.
But help is there when and if Poland asks for it.
What people seem to forget/ignore, is that if Poland decides to let in these regufees, they’re not gonna stay in Poland. They’re going straight for Germany, France, etc.
So the EU kinda has to protect the Polish border.
I’m sorry external border is a state matter, or at least that is what Polish leaders told us.
Also they won’t be allowed to pass to Germany because Polish leaders cannot be seen as weak by their followers. This will ends with Poland surrender to EU demands or – if we play smart- by using the refugees as weapon against Lukashenko (he can’t keep all these people at the border continuously, it takes resources he needs to keep control over his population)
