Wait… don’t all Muritards trace their bloodline back to that one Stone Age Irish drunken bum who sold his last brain cells for cheap booze?
She moved to Ireland at two years old and has an irish passport. What else is she supposed to be? She’s definitely more irish than the irish americ*ns who’ve never even set foot in their alleged home country.
yes hate speech regulation
Sorry her name is Billykiss?
But let’s hear more about what Love Island contestants think about fundamental rights and legislation
EDIT: Apparently it’s a very odd Anglicisation of ‘Bilqis’, an Arabic title for the Queen of Sheba
She’s Nigerian-born, but she’s also Irish.
Don’t be a Dumburican in this sub.
She’s Irish, yes. But it’s not that far-fetched that people might think she isn’t. Your average Irish isn’t black, you know?
smugness about the irish being somehow resistant to racism is rather a distant memory nowadays.
It’s like the gender-thing, but easier.
Lived in the irish shithole for 95% of her life, she’s irish.
Stop caring about where people are born.
Wrong sub.
I have friends who were born elsewhere and they have the same claim to our nationality as I have.
Shut up yank
You can’t live your entire life on this island and fully avoid being influenced by all the Paddy shit. It’s not possible, I tried
.. she’s Irish, just not ethnically so. Fck the hate speech legislation tho.
Talk about living rent-free; all you losers do is whine about Americans, even on completely unrelated topics. Anyway, average Americans hate these racial narratives as much as you do – they just have no control over it. It’s now here for you as well, whether you like it or not. So get used to it. I say this as a first-generation American/dual-citizen with deep ties to the ancestral homelands.
This sub if immigrants don’t assimilate to the culture the values of their new country: 😡

I don’t care about blood, or how sexy she is, does she supports the reunification of the Ireland or not?
Also is she catholic or protestant?
Makes me sad. So you all are saying no matter where I go, no matter what I do, no matter what citizenship I attain, I’ll always just be a meritard. I’d like to believe that’s something I can change but I suppose not to some people.
A while back we had this whole discussion in the Netherlands with an influential television boomer saying a black Frysian member of parliament was “not a real Frysian”, after he lead a campaign for Frysian language preservation. The dude was adopted as a baby and raised by a white Frysian family. The Frysian culture was the only one he knew. But apparently even then he is still a “fake Frysian”, just because of his skin colour.
Maybe that’s not entirely the same at this situation, but at some point we have to acknowledge that there is a racist element in these types of proclamations. Let’s be honest. Nobody would call a child of two Polish migrant parents a “fake Irishwoman” in the same situation. Race is the relevant factor here.
There is actually, and it would remain Dutch even if the person in question emigrated to Ireland at an early age.
Exact same thing goes for this lady’s situation.
Just like if I see a redhead leprechaun I’m not going to assume he’s from Nigeria, God forbid countries or regions having phenotypical feautures
Okay but lads the real questions we all need the answers to are.
1. Does she know what brexit means?
2. Does she know we are not going to cut down the trees?
3. Does she love her holidays?
Racists on this sub when they learn about naturalization.
It seems to me that she looks Scot rather than Irish.
I suppose it’s a question of nationality and ethnicity? You can be an Irish national but not necessarily an ethnic Irish?
OP are you a savage?
As far as I’m concerned if someone lived their formative years in a place, grew up speaking the language of the place, went to school in that place and generally grew surrounded by that culture they are from the place no matter where they were born.
Or as we say in Asturies, “one if not from where he’s born but from where he chews his cuds”.
