Teletext is the real future. The internet is just a fad. Don’t be fooled.
I think it should be kept. Historically significant or whatever. Would make for a neat app on your phone/browser.
One of the greatest days was when my dad bought a widescreen tv and I realised that I could split the screen and watch TV and teletext at the same time on the same screen.
It was probably cheaper to keep paying the Aertel team than pay them severance.
Just popping by to say if you have an old VHS you recorded off the telly and the means to play it, you can view the artel pages from that time. Enjoy!
Who maintains that and how many people use it? Bizarre that it still exists.
