Belarus is working ahead of schedule to manufacture a launch pad for the Russian Oreshnik missile system — as noted by Dmitry Pantus, the Chairman of Belarus’ State Authority for Military Industry in his talk with Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA reports

“The launch pad for the Oreshnik (at least the Belarusian part) is being manufactured in compliance with established procedures. And, as of today, these efforts are ahead of schedule,” Dmitry Pantus stated.

As for developing its own missile production in Belarus, the State Authority for Military Industry noted that the army needs ‘the most powerful and long-range [missile] that reaches what is intended’.

“We have never stopped, not for a minute,” Dmitry Pantus added.
