A large front-end loader had crashed on Cedar Street in Milford, MA after experiencing brake failure

  1. It happened to me in a 580C brakes failed as I was traveling on the downhillside of the overpass. It was a red light for me cars were crossing.
I quickly set the bucket down flat on the road. It made enough noise and slowed me down eventually complete stop, once road flattened

  2. Fun fact it’s a pneumatic transmission foot off the gas and it stops immediately plus on the right stick you can simply flip it into neutral 😂

  3. Loaders have e-brakes. This guy had no power to stop or move the bucket. Because he’s moving like he’s in neutral he coul go in low gear and that loader would stop. This is straight no power.

  4. For the people who think lowering the bucket would do something, it wouldn't, first it would mostly damage the road, they are used for repaving roads where I live for a reason, and 2 if any of you were in that situation, last thing you would do is risk a worser accident by lowering the bucket, it's best to drive it away from traffic and find something to stop it, hence why he hit the pole, and don't even get me started on the white SUV that CLEARLY GOT IN THE WAY.

  5. Correction. Brake failure, throttle stuck, ignition stuck on, stuck in gear, and Hydraulics froze so bucket wouldn't lower. The pole though is solid.
