I don't know who this person is, I stopped watching Belgian TV since several years ago but just read some of his comments in this interview the day the criminal state of Israel has bombed another hospital, killing 15. The previous headline from the interview was around his adopted child (Pluk ?) and how he was going to be a nice father for him, blah, blah… It looks like someone at DeMorgen wanted to put him on the spot, see the current front page of the web edition

  5. Stijn Baert heeft onlangs een 5 sterren beoordeling geschreven over een zaak die ik zelf goed ken en die veel slechte reviews heeft. De baas is zo’n bullebak die iedereen wie een slechte review schrijft uitkaffert. Heeft Stijn er een verdienmodel van gemaakt? Gratis gaan eten in ruil voor 5 sterren? Ik geloof er in ieder geval niets meer van.

  7. Since the previous thread got deleted, a quick recap of what I responded to other people:

    * No-one is claiming Palestinians are universally friendly towards queer folks
    * The former point isn’t really relevant, because having bigoted ideas doesn’t justify a genocide
    * LGBTQ+ Palestinians exist and are also being affected by the genocide
    * Claiming every single Palestinian is queerphobic is racist
    * Regardless of their opinions on queer people, Palestinian people and people with Palestinian roots have been working with queer organisations and organizations that have a lot of queer people in them

  8. My dude, every idiot and his dog lately have been given a place in the newspaper to publish their outrage about Gaza, even when they know absolutely nothing about the subject. You see one article by a gay man criticizing one aspect of pro-Palestinian support and you get worked up. We have free media in Belgium, so sometimes you will read something you do not agree with. I hope you can deal with this, many of us definitely can not.
