Sheriff: Malta couple left three dogs in poor conditions

A couple from Malta is accused of leaving three dogs in poor conditions.

Tosha L. Jerome, 41, and Christopher E. Terry, 43, allegedly left three Cane Corso dogs in a garage at a home on Rockaway Street. There was urine and feces on the floor with high ammonia levels, and no ventilation, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jerome and Terry are charged with three counts each of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals, failure to provide proper sustenance. They were released on appearance tickets and are due in Malta Town Court at a later date.
