My partner is a civil servant. My partner has a severely compromised immune system.
She will be among the last to return to her new office which has been built with too few desks for the staff they have there.
At best she will be in the office 3 days per week.
Why doesn’t jrm shut up and get on the job that was created for him ?
The problem is that everyone who works in retail/factory jobs who can’t (for very obvious reasons) work from home themselves get extremely riled up about office workers and join in with the whole ‘wish I could sit about in my pyjamas watching Netflix all day’ nonsense.
We all need to be supporting eachother. Be fucking happy that some workers were free from the commute and miserable office life for a while instead of being so bitter you want them to hate their work routine as much as you do.
My company closed all regional office branches during covid and has only slightly expanded the London office to accommodate. Theoretically there should be enough desks for 3 day attendance but they’re struggling to get people in on Monday and Friday, so it’s full on TTW.
But he’s a racist enabling liar with a proven track record of deception. Why ask these people to risk their lives for no reason?
