  1. Just in time for us finishing updating all the current trains.

  2. Get Michelle Gomez.

“The next stop is Glasgow Queen Street, shut yer holes and haud yer wheesht till we get there!”

  3. So a moral panic over a voice that wasn’t AI has resulted in them wasting money?

  4. My comments went negative in r/ukpolitics for suggesting that her case wasn’t meritless, despite what the lawyers of the people who made an AI copy of her voice said. Turns out telling someone “We won’t re-sell any of the products of the recordings you do for us” does actually sufficiently complicate things when you make an AI model product based on some recordings.

  5. It wasn’t AI to begin with.

They do need to update them though, especially with the way some new or renamed stations have been hastily added into the mix and sound ridiculous when read out. Leven, Cameron Bridge, Dunfermline City for example all sound odd compared to the rest of the stations on the route.
