DofE Gold: Bannau Brycheiniog/Brecon Beacons. Days 1-2

Oh boy. The Qualifying Expedition as part of my Gold DofE took place in the Brecon Beacons and certainly quite a roller coaster from the start losing 2 members of our team and going down to a 4 person team to lead. Started off in YHA Danywellent

Anyway Days 1-2 primarily focused around going up Fan y Big and Pen y Fan before the descent down and around into camp via part of the Taff Trail into Camp.

Day 2 we double backed and headed up and over the second part including: Craig Cerrig Gleisiad, over and up to Fan Dringarth and Fan Llia and then descended down. Before moving into the Ward of Ystradfellte and into Bryn Bwch which was Campsite number 2.
