How long until signs like these get treated like assets of cultural value. I think we should preserve at least some of them, might be a good reminder of 2020-2021 after 50-60 years.

they’ll disappear on their own over time.
Keep them for a “just leave people alone” campaign.
This still works for me. I liked my space before. And I like it now. Covid be damned, I can’t stand people on top of me in public spaces.
Still lots of rona out there and yeah; need my space TYVM.
Keep them until they fade on their own; it might remind people that not everyone likes strangers breathing down their neck… Some of us like a tiny bit of distance to our fellow Londoners.
Doesn’t need to be the distance we were told to keep during Covid, but if you moving a little makes you inadvertently touch the person in front of you, or if I feel your breath on the back of my neck, you’re *too close*. (Obvs there are situations that are exempt from this, but your bog standard queue isn’t one of them.)
I say leave them. I still want people to keep away from me and they’ll save time when for when the next pandemic comes around.
I remember the days when we couldn’t stand near women (or men, if you’re a woman).
Leave them, they’ll disappear on their own, no need to waste money
They should still be followed, we’d all be healthier
Can’t believe we went along with it.
Every now and again I see a sign about masks in a shop window, or standing waiting to be served and on the floor they have the positioning roundals, and it reminds me of the lockdowns and how crazy a time that was.
We seem as a culture to be blacking out those years. I know they blend into one in my mind. I really have to think about dates, and whether something happened BC (before Covid) or AD (after dose).
Some of us are still affected by it, and people should still give people space.
Think there’s still a thick blue line down the middle of the footways on Blackfriars Bridge, getting fainter by the day.
Keep them and let them fade over their own time as a reminder… Society learns from history (or at least supposed to.)
I thought they were instructional diagrams for London’s new locals, so they know how to behave appropriately around women in public.
In the UK, there seems to be a cultural abhorrence for removing outdated signs. This, of course, leads to people disregarding current signs.
What the hell did they do to the road layout for social distancing?
Frankly I enjoy having them around. We as a society have blanked Covid from our memory, we should remember it. I look at them like museum pieces or public art.
We should have a statue of 4 adults, sitting on deck chairs outside, meters apart, wearing masks..
..to remember how sub-servient Britain was whilst politicians dumped all the covid funds into their own banks under the guise of “emergency”, and to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
I wish they would fuck off. I couldn’t visit my wife in hospital when we lost our baby because of those stupid fucking covid rules that everyone on Reddit seemed to love so much.
Thought the first pic was about the current “crisis” in dating of men not approaching women /s
Leave them for the next pandemic. Stupid to think there won’t be
They should be preserved but not preserved in place, they should be removed and placed in safe storage so they can be in a museum at some point
Should be removed. Not all of us were having a jolly old time during Covid and we’d rather not have constant reminders floating around.
kept as the propaganda they were.
We need more, If you don’t know the woman should stay 2 metres away, sad we need signs to remind people that
Well yes, heterosexuals are disgustingly, I’ve got nothing against them personally, but they should keep their depravity to themselves, why do they keep doing horrific acts, like holding hands in public, what if children see them.
(/s obviously, but some people can be a bit dense)
Hands face space walk jam nitty gritty
You’re listening to advice from Professor Chris Whitty
This is Tier 4
Love how the line people just painted over it, speakes volumes
Definitely just leave them and not spend any of our tax money to preserve them or take them away.
Keep them. Only a matter of time before something just as bad or worse happens
Modern ghost signs, I love them. I love that at St Pancras there are still floor signs dating from the Olympics.
