Nigel Farage has warned he fears a “genuine threat to public order” as a result of “rising anger” over illegal immigration.
Hitting out at the Prime Minister’s plans, Farage unveiled [Reform UK’s bid to tackle illegal migration](https://inews.co.uk/news/politics/farage-plans-new-failed-aslyum-immigration-3877913?ico=in-line_link) with an overhaul of human rights law and mass deportations.
It comes as ministers are reportedly ready to send more than 100 [small boats arrivals back across the Channel](https://inews.co.uk/news/french-migrant-deal-unlikely-stop-channel-crossings-3815308?ico=in-line_link), as Reform UK sets out its plans to grasp the migrant crisis.
Sir Keir Starmer will implement his [one in, one out migrant deal with France](https://inews.co.uk/news/politics/starmer-one-in-one-out-migrant-deal-france-3842825?srsltid=AfmBOoriRBF3jzrb3yH15p8PpaBA5Q8PPvD87amx_EhNiXV7AH74KubF&ico=in-line_link) within weeks, according to *The Times*, amid mounting criticism of his approach to small boat crossings.

As has been said on the other eight times this has been posted this morning:
Farage has no viable solutions. Only idiots believe anything he says.
Never had an issue with small boat crossings prior to Brexit. Funny how he never mentions that.
‘Warns he will stoke up the threat to public order to push his agenda.’
This will resonate with those who have a Tiktok attention span.
for the low price of all your rights you can save a tiny portion of the budget, maybe.
why dont need to know every word this loser breathes. the excessive coverage is rediculous.
Here he goes, parroting Trump again
It’s not a plan.
It’s empty sound-bites that he has no idea how to follow through on and actually turn into a plan.
Farage never has a plan.
I’m curious to know why people think we don’t need a mass deportation plan though, from the comments here it seems the majority are against it.
Im Curious how hes going to deport Afghanis back to Afghanistan.
He does know the Taliban arent very friendly?
Dog whistling that he will use street thugs to get his way
Tell him to fuck off back to France where he is a citizen
He’s the threat to public order so at least somewhat honest.
From a linked article that details Farages touted immigration ‘plans’:
Send them oversees: Ruled out already as too expensive. Ascension Island has been mentioned but is logistically expensive and inefficient. Farage himself later described this as “symbolism”, likely when it became clear it was nonsense.
Detention centres: Recycled Tory plans to build more detention centres. Labour have tried and are constantly blocked because local residents don’t want a detention centre within 100 miles of their houses. This includes disused military bases. Cost-wise it’s also only cheaper than hotels if the asylum process can be accelerated.
Deportation flights: Logistical nightmare. Tories tried and failed miserably, there’s no evidence to suggest Reform would do any better. May be workable with very good organisation but would also be prohibitively expensive.
Human rights: This is probably the worst idea. Pulling us out of any global agreement on human rights and replacing it with a Bill of Rights that only applies to citizens and Farage summarised as “Do anything you like, as long as there’s not a law against it.” The risk here is massive. Currently international agreements on human rights supersede local laws, so tyrannical governments can be held to account by the ICC and other bodies. This would remove that protection and put our human rights solely in the hands of the incumbent government. Even Americas Bill of Rights extends to anyone on American soil. Trusting the government to determine what basic human rights we have is a terrible idea. However, it’s unlikely to pass. It’s been tried in various forms by right-leaning (mostly Tory) governments in the past and has failed every time.
Seriously people, Farage has no workable solutions to anything. His ideas are recycled ideas and there’s no reason to believe him and his disorganised party of people who don’t know what they’re doing would be able to make them work.
He won’t ever fix it. If he did he wouldn’t have anyone to blame after his party fucks the country.
What a dick he is he’s the one stoking division and the rich
And all for the small price of sacrificing your human rights. Which of course will have NO unintended consequences at all…
Will be funny to see how Nigel and his cronies spin it when they get into power and are completely unable to act on any of these promises.
Really does not matter what he says. The earliest he’s likely to have any real say in anything is late 2028. By then Reform will have imploded. 10 councils are currently being mismanaged by idiots who couldn’t be trusted to run a bath…The small boats problem was created by Brexit…Brexit was Farage’s bright idea…Farage created the problem….A racist chancer…
Short sighted bollocks copying Trump to stoke more dissent to make the sheep easier to corral. That will do nothing to the immigration numbers, and will just cost us a lot of money, time and good will.
Farage knows despite we’re just a mini America, he’ll mirror trump right up until Trump comes unstuck then suddenly distance himself like they weren’t that close.
Its amazing what you can say when you’re not actually in power…. and even more amazing that so many people are willing you suckle on the ring piece of this colossal waste of atoms.
This guy is so boring, he’s so in love with the pervert in chief, whom he considers “the bravest man” he knows. It’s tiresome listening to him spouting off Trump’s greatest hits, even more tiresome watching the media fawn over him and the lack of critical thinking by enough of the electorate willing to screw the country over by voting for this lying grifter.
Of course the ‘threat’ is coming from him. I mean are we just expected to give in to terrorists demands now?
Farage warns of public disorder then the people most likely to vote reform will go make the public disorder happen and should any accusations of rabble rousing ever make its way back to him then he’ll simply say that he highlighted the issue and did not tell people to go and do it.
Clever bloke in a way, he knows just what to say and when to stop from a legal perspective.
Could we try him as a traitor?
The “threat to public order” are the very Reform voters that support this clown.
Hey, you guys like the mess Trump is making in America? Well that’s my plan for here.
– this prick
It’s the Putin playbook.
I love how ITV ran this story and effectively mocked the entire concept and the policies involved and then a minute later a news story that followed was about an Ethiopian migrant who had been in the country illegally for a week before molesting a 14 year old girl.
This country is absolutely cooked.
He is the threat to public order
So he is going to tax me to send it to the Taliban? And then the rest is the plan is in practice the same as the government’s (let people in and make a hypothetical deal to send them back) except I lose all of my human rights? That’s the big plan on his big issue.
People really think this is worth scrapping the NHS for?
He doesn’t have a plan and shouldn’t be standing behind a podium with anything ‘operation’ except the board game
It’s a fucking joke we get his sound bites on BBC news headlines 24/7 these days. Since when does a party with such low representation in parliament get free coverage from mainstream news and especially the supposedly impartial BBC?
The biggest threat to public order are the goons that he encourages.
I predict that the Labour government will implode within a year which is why Farage is ramping up talking about crime and immigration policy it’s like an election run up.
