One of the local farmers had a muddy patch of wasteland, so he turned it into this.

  1. Absolutely glorious to look at, and I bet very popular with pollinators in the area.

  2. The Sustainable Farming Incentive has probably got something to do with that.

  3. Beautiful, and so good for all the little insects and bumble bees and things.

  4. There’s a grass verge in Cheshire even better than that. Absolutely gorgeous wild flowers. Thank you Mr farmer.

  5. I love that farmer- so beautiful!!

Don’t tell peeps where that is as they’ll get “influncers” taking pics there!

This has brought me some way to peace… until I’m reminded that Bert exists! Fuck Bert!!

But bless you for posting beautiful things so cheers mate- you’re doing the lords work!!

More pictures if you will please?

  6. No empathy for us hay fever patients whatsoever 😡😇

  7. This is kinda what I ended up doing. I’ve only got a small garden but I’ve filled it with wildflowers and the bees love it. Great to sit and have your breakfast watching nature do its thing.

  8. Bizarre fact, wildflowers absolutely thrive in poor quality soil!

  9. Me role playing as the greedy developer ‘mmmm yes barret builds would improve this muck. I just need to make sure it has awful drainage to ensure maximum shittification’

  10. This year, I bought a big box of wildflower seeds and threw them randomly around my neighbourhood, and during my walks. It was very nice to see so many flowers before the council cut them down

  11. I wish I was able to get my front yard just as half as nice as this…

  12. That man could be onto a gold mine and charge people to stand in that field for pics or even picking the flowers.

  13. Beautiful. Critter oasis. We need more.
I have a steep sloping piece of land that I just leave to grow. I put a sign on it saying it’s a home for the bugs. It’s at the front on the house next to the drive. I used to mow it but figured I’d leave it to nature so nature can use it.

  14. Good lad. This will also count in his carbon impact reporting (handy if he’s selling to supermarkets), and he may get paid under SFI, so he’s got reasons to do it.
