Dear moderators who will be approving this,
[zaufanatrzeciastrona.pl](https://zaufanatrzeciastrona.pl) and [niebezpiecznik.pl](https://niebezpiecznik.pl) are well-known Polish blogs about web security. They link to lots of sources and organize workshops for interested companies. Their articles are mostly objective.
Unfortunatelly, for a lot of people (including my mother, she is a doctor) can be those really manipulative.
Fantastic, maybe with cutting off Russia we can cut off this insane wave of racist, homophobic bullshit ”news” that has been infecting Western minds for years now with utter sensationalist lies? Maybe we can stop swinging so far to the right in our discourse that social democracy is labelled ”far left”?
Bulgaria did this in the beginning of the war 45000 addresses. You can imagine the scope of disinformation, 45000 sites against a country of 6.5 mil. people, at that point critical thinking hardly helps, when its the only shit you see on a daily basis.
Must be as bad in Poland, if not worse.
Glad I can still enter through VPN
Throughout Cold War era Britain, people were able to buy daily Soviet newspapers at corner newsstands. Now obviously Europeans are too stupid to think for themselves.
In Greece, my sister and my mom, unknowingly get most of their pro-Russian propaganda from Facebook, IM app groups and also some small peripheral TV channels. There’s usually a facade of Christian Orthodoxy and nationalism, but if you pay close attention you can notice the anti-West, pro-Russia messaging and divisive rhetoric based on fake news. As a result they are both anti-vaccine too. I wish EU would do something about that before it’s too late.
