  4. I’m a big fan of a lot of his movies. This whole story is incredibly sad. We saw an advertisement for this show last night and I turned to my wife and said “is that his wife or daughter?”

  6. Was watching Die Hard With a Vengeance the other night and got sad watching it. It was tough seeing him so full of vigor in the movies knowing what’s happening to him now.

  7. I don’t actually know him, but I’m glad Bruce Willis seems to be taken care of well by his family. I’ve had a lot of family members who were mistreated because they couldn’t defend themselves due to health issues. It’s a relief to see how loved Bruce Willis is in the small updates we get.

  10. I have a stepdad with late stage Alzheimer’s. When the interview aired, I teared up at this part. It’s exactly how I feel about my stepdad.

    Once on my birthday he wished me a happy birthday after noticing the date. Another time we were reading a magazine together and I was quizzing him on reading the words. He pointed to one of the photos and said with a big smile “I know her! That’s Jennifer!”. The picture was of Jennifer Aniston. It was one of the first times in years he could put a name to a face other than mine and his best friend’s. It’s so sad when the moment fades away and he’s back to his silent, dissociative state. I knew exactly what she must have felt when she talked about it
