Mum’s anger after Leeds funeral director keeps baby’s body at home

   What? That sounds insane to me.

   We seem to have so many gaps in regulation / enforcement of standards in so many areas of life – it’s like the place js held together by spit and string.

9. She says she’s only had two complaints, but I wonder if every other family was aware she was taking them home and doing, whatever you’d describe this as, treating them like dolls or whatever. My baby was in a cold cot, and I can tell you now, after a few days, you could tell things were progressing so to speak, I saw him at the funeral directors after that and he looked different again, so I can only imagine how those babies would look without proper care.

10. The charity facebook page has pictures of dead babies all over it. I feel sick. If anyone less traumatised than my real life issues wants to go report those. I’d encourage it.

11. I don’t believe there was any malice behind this woman’s intentions but I do think she needs serious psychiatric help. She lost her own baby in 2017 and she clearly has unresolved trauma. It’s a very sad case all round

14. That was one of the most unsettling things I’ve read on here in a while. Made my stomach turn.
    It does sound like the person who was struck off needs some serious help/intervention

    Also its high time the industry was regulated properly.

15. Zoe Ward’s Facebook is also publicly viewable and has some disturbing content. She has shared photos of dead babies posted by Amy Upton and said she found cat hairs in her dead son’s mouth. Changing his nappy every two hours. Other dead babies on the sofa.
