King Charles office issues positive update after Prince Harry Palace snub

Buckingham Palace shared a personal message of King Charles in which he expressed his hope about achieving ‘lasting peace’ as his estranged son Prince Harry is planning his U.K. trip.

Montecito is reportedly in talks with the Palace following the olive branch offered by the Duke of Sussex during the aides’ peace summit in July. While the talks continue behind closed doors, there was anticipation of a possible meeting between the father and son.

Although, royal author Robert Hardman pointed out that Harry had refused the King’s offer to stay in Buckingham Palace for his previous trips to London, citing that the location was “still so unsafe” and ended up staying in a hotel.

However, with Harry’s change of heart and his desperation to make amends, the Duke’s answer may have a change of tone if he receives the offer.

Ahead of Harry’s arrival in his home country next month, the Palace shared a uplifting update about hope and peace.

“I keep feeling the greatest and deepest admiration for the unbreakable courage and spirit of the Ukrainian people,” read the excerpt from his personal letter he had sent to President Zelenskyy. “I remain hopeful that our countries will be able to further work closely together to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.”

The statement from the Palace shared details from the Monday’s events as the “Ukrainian Naval Band performed Stand By Me by Ben E. King, alongside the Band of the Scots Guards on the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace”.

It continued, “In a celebration of the bonds that unite Ukraine and the UK, the historic event took place to mark Ukraine’s 34th year of Independence.”

The words of the monarch appear to be a reflection of his thoughts about conflict which he has been dealing about his ‘darling boy’ since the royal rift began.

Following his cancer diagnosis, Charles seems to have softened his stance as Harry also steps forward to resolve matters and finally end the feud.
