Astana. August 27. KazTAG – Kazakhstan has begun deploying troops to Belarus for joint drills with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The redeployment will be completed by 29 August, the bloc said.
The exercises, scheduled for 31 August to 6 September, will include crisis response, intelligence operations, and logistics training. Troops from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan are also taking part.
