  1. Remember – pride is a celebration of what makes us, let’s not make it about xenophobia.

  2. “The second is too hard” say the reform uk voter lol

  3. Isnt this meme the wrong way round? As people are rejecting the latter in favour of the former

  4. 1 – white, unemployed guy who spends his days drinking, drawing red lines on stuff and screaming at brown children in hotels

2 – brown guy, spends his days treating English patients medical ails, pays nearly 30% of his salary in taxes to keep guy number 1 fed long enough to scream at brown kids and deface private property

And reform voters are trying to tell us that guy number 1 is a patriot and guy number 2 is “the other”

  5. Empty gesturism is the language of the British working class’ politics

Vote for someone who isn’t a Tory? You’re having a fucking laugh

Clap for the NHS? Put up flags for some reason? Racially abuse nonwhite people in the street? Yes please, I’ll have another helping.

Anything else might improve circumstances and we can’t have that.

  6. GUYS GUYS. LET’S BE PATRIOTIC BY MAKING ALL COUNTRIES WORSE THAN US. THEN WE CAN TRULY BE GREAT.

  7. It’s kinda wild how all of the protests have been after violence or sexual crimes and people are still trying to twist the anger into it being only scum bags who are mad.

It was only scum bags who have time off work to go protest that were there. They’re definitely not the only ones mad though.

If you aren’t angry that a hotel landlord took government money to house undocumented migrants in a community of the Uk, that lead to the sexual assault of multiple girls.. you need your head checking because your morals are wild.

Stop scapegoating the anger, you’re just gunna let Farage win by sounding so bloody out of touch lol. You’re defending a hotel landlords right to take money and endanger young girls – congratulations you’re so caring!

  8. Showing patriotism by letting anyone who claims they’re seeking asylum in rent free and don’t deport them when they commit crimesssss 😁😁😁

  9. I have come to the conclusion that in most situations I’m not that bothered what motivates you, but much more interested in what you do with that motivation. If the think that you do is inherently good, I’m not bothered what motivates you.

To use a deliberately contentious example, if someone is anti-abortion but uses that motivation to volunteer with a charity that supports young/single/poor parents to help raise a child with a view to increase the options those parents have when they find themselves pregnant. I’m not that bothered even if that motivation comes from a position of one I disagree with if the thing they’re doing with that is inherently positive. Naturally I’m assuming no pressure on people’s decisions here.

It’s the same here. I don’t really go in nationalism or patriotism much of the time. I don’t really care for it that much outside of sports. But if patriotism is what drives people to do inherently good things like care for the people here and the places within it then crack on.

  10. Show patriotism by watching the cost of living rising, discussions of tax rises, job losses due to NI increases,

screw contributing more when my efforts are being flushed

  11. Recently learned about some history during World War 2. Some Danish sailors were out at sea when the Nazis took Denmark. They decided to make for the UK in their time of need and docked in Newcastle. They were welcomed with open arms and given support. All these years later, the Danish flag is flown inside the Catheral there (which some of these racist morons probably think is the English flag) and an annual event happens to acknowledge the event.

People sailed here in boats who needed help and a home. Today, in 2025 we are doing what the nazis would have done.

  12. Exactly, claiming pride in your country is such an empty gesture unless you’ve actually had a hand in creating or improving the community around you.

  13. Or fuck patriotism and just be a decent person to everyone.

  14. I agree with the underlying message but…please for the love of god let’s not demonise those who display their own nation’s flag in their own nation.

We live in a time where people display everything they claim to support
    – blm flags
    – Ukraine flags
    – rainbow flags
    – Palestine flag

All these are supported and celebrated by the mainstream narrative. Yet the English flag is not.

Do not make the mistake of leaving this symbol to Farage. Be proud of your flag, country and culture

  15. Ironic that a decent number of the flag-flying, far right ‘patriots’ on social media also seem to fetishise/admire Vladimir Putin and his Russian government.

The same Russian government that has been actively trying to destabilise Britain, sabotaging infrastructure, assassinating people within our borders and threatening nuclear strikes against London for the past 10-20 years.

    How very ‘patriotic’, indeed.

  16. second one is more “shut up and go back to work, stop making people aware of issues.”

  17. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🇮🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

  18. Help your local community by protesting for Palestine.

  19. Tl;dr

Shut up, get back to work, and do not question your betters

  20. Genuine question, why do people dislike the flags being hung?
