I am a study abroad student living in Luxembourg and I am an athlete back home. I’m trying to find a track to run at that looks like this and has a long jump pit like this. At home, I run on the track and do long jump.

Everywhere I’ve tried either is always locked/closed, or there is a random club practicing that doesn’t let me practice at the same time (even though the facility says it’s open to the public). I am located in the very south (live in Noertzange and go to school in Differdange).

I need help finding someplace as I need to remain training while I’m here so I can remain strong at my sport! Any suggestions appreciated!

  3. Outside of school hours there’s a track on the “Campus Geesseknäppchen” (Hollerich/Merl) but I’m not 100% positive it’s a 400m one and it’s not 200m either so it’s kinda weird but better than nothing.

    Afaik, there’s a chance the gates at Josy Barthel are open during lunchtime or something but I haven’t been in years

  4. There is a club in Schifflange called “Cercle athlétique Schifflange”. You could get a membership/license there. Memberships aren’t expensive at all.

  5. the track at the josy bertel stadium is open to public when the athletic club is not training.. it is usually during the day.
    the INS at hamm (rue de treves) has a nice track. likely to be closed as well

    as suggested join a club.. so that you can sometimes enter competitions and stay sharp in your sport.
    Otherwise many infra will be closed or restricted.
