  9. This is what happens when you conscript a farmer’s son, give him a week’s training of, “the bullets probably go out of this end” and then send them to the front lines.

  15. If I had a penny for each time I saw a Russian soldier shouldering an RPG in a way that ended up with the back blast ripping their arm away I would have two pennies.

    Which is not much, but it’s weird it happened twice.

  17. I say a lot of people dont realise how dangerous backblast is because of games. Like the only game I’ve played that even simulates it is Helldivers 2, and that only ragdolls you.

  20. People don’t realize that getting hit by a backblast is, in essence, the same as getting hit with an HE Grenade (the type of grenade that doesn’t launch fragments as their main source of damage, but rather, kill by virtue of their immensely powerful shockwave).

    That shit will, has, and will continue to kill stupid soldiers everywhere, and they need to start getting better training.

    That is… unless you’re a Russian Soldier, at which point, keep doing whatever the hell that guy just did! You’re doing great, sweetie.

  25. How do you fuck this up. Admittedly I’ve never fired an RPG but I have fired a rifle. The trigger is one way.
