I’ve never seen one. And I do some wildlife photography and live somewhere they should be common. Would love to see one.
I’d love one to eat all the spiders
Bloody immigrants!
If you can please report it to Biodiversity Ireland who collate sightings. Lovely photo too. Such under rated species
It’s a smooth newt
Lick it and smash it with a rock for the cure for burns! Messing it’s a living rare enough native lizard haven’t seen one my whole life but ehh maybe it’s that little bit of folklore that’s the reason for that
Lots getting confused with the species. It’s a newt, not a lizard. I’ve seen plenty more lizards than newts at home though, so that’s a very cool find!
always see a few of these during the summer especially if there’s hot weather they come out of wherever they hide…they move quite fast but they’re harmless
I knew exactly what that little guy was, right from the gecko..
That’s cool, would love to spot one of those lads out and about.

Did the fella happen to be a fart smella?
They mostly come at night
Are those native to Ireland??
I’ve only ever seen one of these in my life.
