  1. Your unsourced graphic is probably from the recently published list of hospitals that receive more than 25% of their funding for Medicaid. There is no guarantee that they are forced to close or scale back services. They are just at risk because of their high Medicaid funding.

    This also says nothing about the thousands of other hospitals that are also at risk but have smaller levels of medicaid revenue

  4. For those that do not understand:

    See what happens to rural towns/cities when one of the biggest employers – the hospital closes…. Basically ghost towns.

    No one wants to travel 2 hrs for emergency healthcare.
