Could it be, genuinely, like that for privacy? There’s going to be a lot of victims moving through there, and obv any suspected criminal dragged in, is only at the stage of suspected and presumed innocent. You probably don’t want it looking like a hotel lobby and everyone is outside looking in and going ‘oh look at jimmy, and to think he was once an altar boy’
