3. It’s absurd that this resulted in any compensation at all, disciplinary action was warranted but compensating someone because they were “disrespected” is a frivolous waste of taxpayers money and a damning indictment of how pathetic our legal system allows civil claims to be.

   The video is a separate incident and separate police force (Bedfordshire).

   The sex toy compensation involves Sussex police and no theft of underwear.

5. Monetary compensation can be appropriate. Depends on the sum. And before anyone says it’s misappropriation of tax payers funds ask yourself first if you voted for Brexit. If you did then you have no right to say anything about anything financial related.

   I remember a few years ago I was searching a house for some quite serious items, I pulled out a big heavy box thinking I’d found it, I opened the box and it was a huge fleshlight, did I laugh and say words to the effect of “oh for fucks sake?”, yes.

   In this incident the article says they’ve arrested someone for supply of controlled drugs so they obviously found something at the house, it talks about how they’ve laid her pants on the bed and searched the box, I would do exactly those things, people hide shit in all sorts of places and the inside of a sex toy box is just as likeli as anywhere else.
