Are they are living in parallel reality? Even the French and the Dutch rejected such ideas in referendums.
It will take generations of peaceful and prosperous coexistence to get to that level if ever. We are different nations with different languages, cultures and history and we don’t trust each other for very good reasons. It’s much to early for any of this.

If they can do it, then why can’t we do it? I personally think that if we want to compete with China or the USA, the EU needs to be more than what it is now.
