🇺🇦🇵🇱 Ukrainians have replenished the Polish budget by almost $28 billion in 3 years.
Officially, Ukrainians have paid taxes in Poland worth over $12.8 billion, while the Polish government’s spending on refugee aid amounted to $4.1 billions.

Nobody knows how much taxes Ukrainians paid because IT CAN’T BE calculated.

Facts are Fake News. Fake News are Facts!
I’d doesn’t matter who is right. All that matter’s who’s right is repeated and believed in the most.
I dont know how they counted it, as 500+ for Ukrainian children in three years was over 4 bilion alone. Not even touching other things.
Yeah, but interests of fucking brokie alcoholic janusz from wypizdówa małego is poland top priority now, so nobody give af.
Cool, but this is not a video game about collecting points. There are plenty of other downsides of inhaling 1M of foreign ppl into a country.
* Availability of housing,
* wages stagnation (why pay more to Polish worker, when I can hire cheaper migrant?),
* cultural integration issues (let’s not cheat ourselves),
* welfare costs, etc.
We, the people, are the country, not some excel columns.
It doesn’t matter how much Ukrainians paid in taxes. It doesn’t matter how much was spent on their support. What’s important is how much the number of jobs has increased. If a migrant takes a job from a local resident and pays taxes instead of him, then there is no benefit from this for either economy or residents or migrants . The country’s economy is a game with a fixed sum if no new jobs have appeared.
There is no doubt that Ukrainian’s pay taxes and contribute to Polish economy. The sticker point here would be considering that these taxes were paid via working jobs, so that tax revenue would still be made no matter if it would be Ukrainian working these jobs or not, and then there is even sticker point if those jobs could go to Polish citizens instead.
I know several Poles who until recently were themselves immigrants in other countries, and I’m talking about 10+ years living in foreign lands and who have now returned to Poland… and are complaining about immigrants… wut?
Ukrainians are smart, hard working, resilient people.
They contribute their share wherever they go.
I love working with them and having them in my family.
Now count how much the average Pole pays into and withdraws from the system. It should be at least the same.
Well, Poland has spent much more than 4 bil when you count the military and humanitarian spending but that’s besides the point. I think Ukrainian refugees are mostly very hard-working and outgoing people. Many of them are learning Polish and respect us so I have no problems with them.
Yeah, and now it’s even harder to find a flat to rent in every big city
These numbers are not correct and def skewed to make Poland look bad. Im sure Ukrainians pay lots of taxes but the other number is def higher. I don’t mind legal immigration, I just don’t like bandera supporters.
This not about Ukrainians this about Ukrainian government.
They also didn’t benefit from those taxes, never used a hospital, never used the roads, never called the police
Nagonka jest na cwaniaków, niepracujących i banderowców.
So many of my friends have been moving out of Poland mostly to Germany or Spain since xenophobia here is getting worse
Taxes are for running the country not for taking money back
If only people were intelligent enough to understand government accounts…
Sure they do – by replacing Polish people in jobs because they accept much lower than normal wages.
Hardly a win for Polish people unless you don’t give a fuck about Polish people in the first place.
HR is perfect example to that.
People wished for better salaries, worked hard for years and then Ukrainians without any experience say YES to laughable salaries and so here we are again – Polish qualified HR people can’t find jobs, and when that do the salaries went back to laughable rates thanks to Ukrainians who lowered them.
You only don’t care as you are not the one getting replaced. And this mind happens to extremely competent and experienced people in favor of people who do not have experience.
So hate will continue. And Ukrainians are the ones to blame for accepting such.
PS. To make it more funny these days you will find insane amount of jobs for Hr people where Russian or Ukrainian is Required for a recruiter job. Which disqualifies Polish people for obvious reasons further. The ukrainization of recruitment is already happening.
As a Ukrainian, I’m both sad (since many of these people, unfortunately, are not coming back as the war goes on) but also glad that we can repay the countries that help us in our fight to survive, even if only in this indirect way. Poland continues to be a very important logistics hub for both our military and our economy. I hope we will find consensus on our historical disputes, and that our complicated past will not define our present or future relationship. By the way, I recently visited Warsaw for the first time – it’s a gorgeous, modern city, and I loved it.
Lol, all this calculation consider Ukraininan don’t use healthcare, public transport, roads, police, firemans and any other utilities that government provide. Average Pole consumes 1500 PLN for 1000PLN he gives as tax, but Ukrainian only 250 for 1000PLN
Spam/misinformation.
