There’s an induction loop for hearing aids. The idea is that all the announcements are broadcast to the hearing aid so that it doesn’t have to amplify all the background noise.
It’s for people with hearing aids, telling them to put their aid in T positionÂ
It is a sign informing that wireless audio induction loop is available, meaning announcements and such in the space can be wirelessly delivered to hearing aids

A sign indicates the presence of an induction loop. Hearing aids with induction benefit from this. Put the hearing aid in the T-position.
Remember to use the earbelt

Sometimes it’s easier to understand things when you use the exclusion method: Here are a few examples of what a sign DOESN’t mean:
The sign says to switch your hearing aid to Telecoil to hear announcements, but that setting blocks the regular mic. I’d rather use the MT (Mic + Telecoil) mode so I can still hear what’s going on around me.
Honestly as someone who has used hearing aids almost all my life. I have never used this and I feel like every time I’ve tried it hasn’t worked. I don’t really need them either so maybe it’s made for people with worse hearing? Who knows?
