Arson attacks at new children’s hospital are causing “grave concern.” Tags:ireland 6 comments It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was organised as part of an extortion scheme/protection racket. [This case](https://www.thejournal.ie/protection-money-to-criminals-building-sites-4844373-Oct2019/) from a few years back was similar. What is wrong with people I’m not a rocket surgeon, but perhaps you could deal with this by paying off the criminals in some traceable way, then arresting and prosecuting them? Maybe it would be considered entrapment or something. Shrug. More work for the lads I was in James’s last year when there was a fire alert, and the impression I got from the staff was that it was a semi regular occurence. Feels like this could go a long way to explaining why the bill for the hospital is *quite* so high. Given the criminal nature of the planning of this hospital they should be asking who stands to gain from this. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
