Usual Reform clusterfuck. These people can only manage to protest and be in opposition. Put them in a position where they need to actually do some work and be productive and they just can’t. Farage is the archetype of this – never seen in his constituency, apparently, and correspondence from constituents goes unanswered. So a dead person as mayor couldn’t be any worse.
TBF she’d do a better job than most of the Reform politicians that are alive. Or at least do less damage.
I had to double check this as it looked like South London’s answer to The Onion, especially considering the story’s byline.
It doesn’t seem to be a parody site, so… wow.
People who are looking at the state of the UK having voted for Tories, Brexit and soon Reform should not be able to vote. They are a complete liability.
One of the above – maybe… but there are people out there going for all three. Causing no end of damage and now flying flags as if that helps.
To be fair, a dead person couldn’t do any *worse* than Croydon Council
On the upside, she can’t come out with some sort of ‘faux pas’ like “I’m not a denier, I’m just questioning the numbers.”
Most in touch reform candidate
To be honest she will be as good as anyone else running that borough
Well, they wanted someone with rigour for the position. She misread the ad and thought they meant Rigor mortis. What a silly(dead) goose.
Took the “better dead than red” a bit too literally I think
that article is pure gold..
They have fewer than 1000 members in the area, most of whom don’t live in the constituency. They meet at a Spoons.. they think “inside Croydon” is a woke lefty MSM paper..
the beauty of fascists is that they always fall out with each other (and form another party). I’m thinking of standing for Deform and falling out with Nigel and creating my own party called Great Britain Alliance Plc. Our banner will be the St George Flag to indicate we are all allied to England and England only
I’ve no real policies but I’ll shout about them vaguely on GBeebies where as a RWNJ I won’t be challenged and every time someone challenges me I will call them woke lefty msm and refuse to speak to them.
I don’t live in Croydon and am wondering to I have to move to Bradford to stand?
Grifters, idiots.
I mean wow, are they just picking names at random and not even asking them if they want to run?
Reform supporters would still vote for her
You’d expect any sane government to implement sanctions or like, any resistance to an opposition party that constantly breaks electoral rules, try somehow the clown show of reform continues to tick along without any consequence.
> Our sources, some who have quit Reform in disgust, seem genuinely surprised that the party is a haven for right-whingers, red necks and racists.
Lmao noooo way, the racist party is racist?! Nooo how could this be!?
