  1. Don’t really see how anyone else can disagree this.

Mind you, I’m from Birmingham so most people I know either pretend like the Midlands don’t exist just to piss me off or they act like they exist because they’re from the north and south and genuinely don’t want to have to claim Birmingham.

  2. Sub-region of the south? We are the east of England, not the south. Norfolk is more north then a decent amount of the midlands

  3. Peterborough in the Midlands, finally good categorisation

  4. Peterborough isnt midlands its county is cambridgeshire, otherwise looks good

  5. How is Cambridge not East Anglia?

Edit: And wtf, how is Bristol not Pirate-land the Pirates literally came from there

  6. Having a region called Pirate land and excluding Bristol, the home of English piracy, the birthplace of Blackbeard, is insane

  7. Bristol is the West Country. It’s nothing like the South. We’re shit at football, drink cider, eat pasties and ride cows. While you all (north and south) dress in tracksuits, drink lager, eat kebabs, and drive corsas …and talk shite.

  8. If Northamptonshire isn’t right in the middle of the Midlands, then it’s simply incorrect. 🤷‍♀️

  9. Why would Cambridgeshire be part of the South? Surely that’s only true if you consider there to only be a North and Not North split? Is the area identical to the South culturally?

  10. The south is completely wrong,
London is it’s own area as is the Isle of wight.
Thames valley could be combined into one area.

  11. I agree with the line for north, as someone who is from the border of the north and the east midlands I absolutely agree that line is correct, none of the others matter to me as they’re all just southerners anyway
